Many of the Czech Republic’s tourist attractions can be found in its capital. A city break in Prague will unveil the stunning architecture which can be seen throughout the country. The Prague Castle dates back to the 9th century and features various styles of architecture within its complex, from Roman and Gothic to 20th century styles. Even the city’s iconic Charles Bridge is a structure to marvel at, linking Prague’s Old and New Towns, the bridge is packed full of action. Entertainers and street artists flock here to amuse visitors. Charles Bridge lights up at night making it one of the best views to witness in the Czech Republic.

Take a walk around the city’s Old Town also known as Staré Mesto, where you can find yourself down winding, cobblestoned streets and admiring the town’s unique buildings. Whilst there, discover Gothic churches, such as the Church of Our Lady Before Týn. With a beautiful exterior including spires, this church looks like something out of a fairytale. Moreover, the Prague Astronomical Clock is a fascinating sight. A medieval piece, the clock unveils the twelve apostles when it strikes.
