• Nighttime spectaculars: Once the sun sets, Disneyland Park’s centrepiece, the Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant (otherwise known as the Sleeping Beauty Castle) comes alive. • Fast-track: If you want to fill your day with as many rides as possible, consider buying Disney Premier Access – handy speedy-access passes that’ll help you skip the queues at some of the resort’s most popular attractions. You can buy passes for individual rides or opt for an ultimate pass that covers all the attractions.
• Magical happenings: Open year-round, Disneyland Paris plays host to a range of events and festivals. Get into the yuletide spirit at Disney’s Enchanted Christmas, see Disney villains out in full force at the Halloween Festival, and celebrate love and diversity at the annual Disneyland Paris Pride.

All that excitement will surely leave you ravenous. Refuel with snacks, quick bites and full-on sit-down meals at kiosks, cafés and restaurants in the parks and along the Disney Village’s main strip.

• Bistrot Chez Rémy: Based on the hit Pixar film, Ratatouille, this Parisian-style bistro is decked out with oversized props – like giant plates and forks and champagne-cork chairs – and serves Rémy the rat’s favourite foods, including his signature dish, ratatouille.
• The Auberge de Cendrillon: Home to the fanciest French-inspired menu in the park, this medieval banquet hall is a dining room for royalty. Surrounded by stained-glass windows and (at certain times) some very special guests, this fairytale restaurant offers only the best for its prince and princess patrons.
• Stark Factory: Located close to the Marvel Avengers Campus in Walt Disney Studios Park, this high-tech space where superheroes assemble serves up pizza, pasta and perfect puds to those hungry for invention.
• Street food: Want food on the go? There are plenty of snack stalls and street food to be had across both parks. Grab fresh cookies and pastries from Cookie Kitchen on Main Street, cool down with a Mickey-shaped ice cream from The Old Mill or chow down on hot dogs from Casey’s Corner.
• The Rainforest Café: Dine in the company of exotic animals at this American-style eatery with a tropical twist. Nestled under the jungle canopy, you can tuck into your burger while thunder claps and storms rain around you, and animatronic birds, elephants and chest-pounding gorillas make a welcome appearance.

• Pirates of the Caribbean: Join Captain Jack Sparrow and his swashbuckling crew on this dark boat trip filled with surprises. With fire and explosions, skeletons and zombies, and sightings of his arch nemesis, Captain Barbossa, this classic ride will have you singing ‘A Pirate's Life for Me’ for days after.
• Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain: May the force be with you as you battle the evil Empire on this epic indoor rollercoaster. After heading into hyperspace, you’ll encounter plenty of twists and turns as you blast through a swarm of dangerous TIE fighters.
• Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast: Become a Junior Space Ranger and help Buzz defeat Emperor Zurg on this intergalactic laser-shooting ride in Discoveryland. Suitable for all ages, all you have to do is rack up as many points as possible. To infinity and beyond!
• The Lion King – Rhythms of the Pridelands: Take some time out of your busy day to catch a show-stopping production of one of Disney’s classic cartoons. With incredible singing, dancing, costumes and acrobatics, it’s guaranteed to be a roaring show.
• Mad Hatter’s Tea Cups: You’re invited to a very important date – the Mad Hatter’s birthday party – and don’t expect it to be anything less than merry. Spinning and whizzing around a giant teapot, we challenge you not to get dizzy.

• The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: Back in 1939, 4 hotel guests and a bellhop got into an elevator at the Hollywood Tower Hotel and were never seen again. To this day, the mystery remains unsolved. But if you’re brave enough, you can hitch a ride on one of the only working service elevators left in the building to find out what happened…
• Avengers Assemble – Flight Force: Team up with Iron Man, Captain Marvel and Earth’s mightiest heroes as you try to save the world from an intergalactic threat. Tucked safely inside hypersonic vehicles, you’ll blast off into outer space on this indoor rollercoaster complete with flashing lights, thrilling drops and epic surprises.
• Ratatouille: Shrink down to the size of a rat and prepare to duck, dive and dodge your way to safety across Gusteau’s larger-than-life Parisian restaurant on this exciting, kid-friendly 4D ride.
• Cars Road Trip: Take in a myriad of sights on this laidback tour around Pixar’s most legendary highway. Wave to Lightning McQueen, enjoy a much-needed natural carwash and admire Mater’s impressive junkyard creations.
• Frozen – A Musical Invitation: Warm up your lungs and limbs for this melody-filled performance starring Arendelle’s very own royals. Join Sven and Kristoff for a rendition of a classic reindeer tribute, master Anna’s dance moves and surprise Elsa in her Ice Palace – and don’t forget to keep an eye out for Olaf too!

• Nostalgic attractions: If you only do one thing at Disney, it has to be It’s a Small World. Celebrating Earth’s myriad of countries and cultures, this gentle water ride is an ultimate Disney classic. Set to a score by Academy Award-winning duo, Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman, the backing track to this ride isn’t one you (or the kids) will forget in a hurry.

• Parent swap: Want to ride the rollercoasters but have toddlers in tow? You’re in luck, Disney’s Rider Switch policy is the best kind of parent swap. Simply put, it allows 2 adults to ride separately but queue once – meaning one looks after the little ones and rides when the other returns.
• Kid-friendly facilities: Disneyland Paris is fully equipped to host families of all sizes and ages. You can hire prams in the parks to ferry around little legs, and there are children’s menus at every restaurant as well as highchairs and bottle warmers for babies.
• Easy rides: Need a break? Slow things down on the Disneyland Railroad, an authentic steam-powered train that takes you on a gentle journey around Disneyland Park. Take in the views and gather up some energy to tackle the next round of rides.
