Action & Adventure

Action & Adventure

You’ll find a lot of the action situated along the shores on Lindos' soft golden sands. The sands have formed into silky bands of gleaming gold over time and are perfect for daily walks, runs or simple strolls.

Pallas Beach and St Paul’s Bay are the two more popular stretches of coastline. Pallas Beach is a sandy shoreline where you can enjoy water sports ranging from scuba diving to water skiing. St Paul’s Bay has a rockier coastline, with rock pool adventures and sublime snorkelling sessions. If the thought of all of those water sports wears you out, head to the secluded sunspot of sunbathing bliss that is Vlycha Beach.

As an island, Rhodes is quite hilly, and visitors can head to the hills to embark on some excellent hiking. One of the great adventures of hiking on Rhodes is visiting the island's villages. Rhodes has 44 villages, and there are many mountain treks that link them together. Spend the day hiking between villages as you stop to rest at the tavernas and restaurants in each one you pass through.

Beaches

Beaches

Stroll down Pallas Street from the Acropolis to Pallas Beach, and you’ll find a world of golden sands and tranquil blue Aegean Sea waters. Pallas Beach is split into two parts, but they both enjoy the same bay. You will find plenty of sunbeds, umbrellas and wide-open spaces to relax upon. After soaking up the sun on Pallas Beach, visitors can embark on a taverna tour as there are numerous spots for a bite to eat or a cold drink nearby.

Pallas Beach is ideal for families with children that want to splash in the sea. The waters at the beach are shallow and kids can play all day long in the waters. Another reason Pallas Beach is a great spot to relax as the sands are routinely quiet during the year. Many of the tourists head to resorts closer to Rhodes Town, meaning Pallas Beach has plenty of area for you to spread out.
