Spending your holidays to Sunny Beach with little ones, or got your teenagers in tow? While you won’t find a huge amount of child-centered attractions to enjoy on your trip here, there’s a number of places to visit to keep the little ones occupied. The whole family will enjoy a trip on the hair-raising Dragon Coaster, while younger kids can have a great time on the bumper cars. It goes without saying that Sunny Beach’s crowning glory is its glorious sand-swept stretch along the coast. Often compared to the bustling party-led resorts of Magaluf and Ibiza, Sunny Beach’s main draw is its excellent nightlife.  The big-name clubs in the town are guaranteed to keep the party going, with many featuring high-profile DJs spinning the decks until the early hours of the morning. For Couples

For Couples

Sunny Beach holidays are definitely worth considering for couples seeking a beach getaway, with plenty to keep them occupied. While the stunning scenery and dramatic landscapes evoke a romance alone, there are a few trips to take for those wanting to spend time together – whether you’re spending your first holiday here, or marking a special occasion.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the beach itself, the best way to kick back and relax is with a boat trip. There are regular departures from nearby Nessebar, and a yacht trip will give you and your partner a chance to embrace your inner VIP. With the blue sky above you and the sea stretched out before you, there’s no better way to relax. Keep your eyes peeled to spot some of the dolphins that inhabit this part of the coast – it’s the most memorable way to spend your holidays to Sunny Beach.

Culture

Culture

While the purpose-built resort of Sunny Beach doesn’t share much in the way of culture, there’s plenty to be found in the surrounding area. Nessebar can be reached in just 15 minutes, and showcases more than enough in the way of ancient architecture and charming cobbled lanes. A UNESCO-listed heritage site, the town is a stunning addition to your holidays to Sunny Beach, particularly its vibrant Old Town. There’s numerous historical sites, with 44 churches and traditional Bulgarian houses, as well as a few archeological museums to delve into.

Alternatively, make the effort to visit nearby Sozopol by boat. Although you’ll find it much less busy than Sunny Beach, this ancient town is a real glimpse into Bulgaria’s history – from its Byzantine, Bulgarian and Ottoman architecture to its medieval cross-domed churches. There’s also a wealth of spectacularly grand houses to visit, including the Dimitri Laskaridis House and the Marieta Stefanova House – don’t forget your camera for those awe-inspiring views.
