Sit Back and Relax in Vera
Holidays to Vera will take you to the stunning Costa de Almeria in the south of Spain. Pronounced Bera, the name actually has nothing to do with the fact holidaymakers bare all here as it is the nudist capital of Andalucia. Rich and resplendent with centuries of history and culture coursing through its veins, the resort boasts magnificent year round sunshine, excellent beaches and the calm waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
Set against a mountainous backdrop a superb selection of apartments and hotels back onto the beach, and many are also designated naturist zones.

Vera Beach Holidays
Vera sandy beach and the official naturist area spreads north along the coastline for about one kilometre and is perfect for those seeking that all over tan. To the south holidaymakers will find an unofficial naturist beach area, where those who prefer to remain scantily clad will be quite happy. A promenade runs along the beach with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants offering sustenance as well as respite from the scorching midday sun. The whole coastline in this area is popular for its excellent blue flag beaches.
Since the late eighties the area has been developed with an on-going programme of sympathetic urban renewal designed to embellish rather than disturb its ambience and intrinsic beauty. Along with many fine restaurants, bars and shops Vera Playa is home to The Parque Aquatico with a host of thrilling rides, water shoots, slides and three swimming pools. A kid’s play area with more gently slides provides fun for the little ones. Golfers will be keen to work on their handicap with many courses in the region.
There are also plenty of cultural places of interest to visit on your holiday in Vera and visitors should include an excursion to Almeria town to take in a tour of the amazing Alcazaba fortress. The nightlife in Vera mainly centres around the local bars, pubs and restaurants with many venues hosting live music and entertainment for holidaymakers. Several hotels have their own programmes of events and evening entertainment, often with kiddie clubs and babysitting services so parents can have a relaxing evening off for that romantic candlelit meal a deux.
