What is Price Drop Protection?
We want our customers to get the best holiday, at the lowest price, every time. That’s why we offer our customers a Price Drop Protection. If you book with us and the price of your holiday drops before you travel, we will refund the difference to you – all at no extra charge.
Terms and Conditions
- Our Price Drop Protection only applies to Flight-Plus bookings (i.e. not hotel only or Tour Operator packages) purchased online and not over the telephone.
- After purchasing a Flight-Plus holiday, if you find the same holiday on loveholidays for a lower total cost 28 days or less before departure, you can request a credit for the difference between the price paid and the price currently being advertised on the payment page.
- Price Drop Protection applies only to bookings that have the identical party size, dates, duration, flight times, flight numbers, in flight extras, hotel, room type, number of rooms and board basis.
- Credit will only be issued on bookings where the full balance of the holiday has been paid by you i.e. Price Drop Protection does not apply to deposit only bookings.
- Price Drop Protection requests can only be submitted once your booking has been confirmed by us.
- Price Drop Protection is applicable only to the original booking made online; any subsequent changes to a booking will not be covered or eligible for Price Drop Protection.
- The new lower price cannot be the result of a voucher promo code or holiday credit.
- Price Drop Protection is not available for holidays purchased wholly or in part with a voucher promo code or holiday credit.
How to claim
If you find the price of your holiday booking has dropped on our site any time before you travel, we will refund the difference to you. Simply contact our dedicated support team at email@example.com and after we verify the lower price, we’ll refund you the difference.
- Only one price drop per booking will be considered.
- Price Drop Protection Credits have a maximum compensation of £100. Once you accept a credit, you will not be eligible for additional credits for any further price drops on the same holiday.
- Price Drop Protection credits are redeemable for online purchases only. Credit cannot be redeemed over the telephone.
- Price Drop Protection does not apply to holiday bookings that have been changed or cancelled. In the event you change or cancel a holiday for which a Price Drop Protection credit has already been issued, the credit will be invalidated.
- The lower price must be independently verified by our customer services team before a credit refund can be issued.
- Price Drop Protection Credits are in a form of a voucher that you can use on future holidays with us.
- The person responsible for making the booking (lead name) must make the claim.
- Price drop protection may not be claimed after the departure date.
- loveholidays reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Price Drop Protection or restrict its availability to any person at any time for any or no reason and without prior notice or liability to you.
